YA Bound Presents A Matter of Fate Blog Tour by Heather Lyons

A Matter of Fate (Fate Series, #1)
Release Date: 08/30/12

Summary from Goodreads:

Chloe Lilywhite struggles with all the normal problems of a typical seventeen-year-old high school student. Only, Chloe isn't a normal teenage girl. She's a Magical, part of a secret race of beings who influence the universe. More importantly, she's a Creator, which means Fate mapped out her destiny long ago, from her college choice, to where she will live, to even her job. While her friends and relatives relish their future roles, Chloe resents the lack of say in her life, especially when she learns she's to be guarded against a vengeful group of beings bent on wiping out her kind. Their number one target? Chloe, of course.

That's nothing compared to the boy trouble she's gotten herself into. Because a guy she's literally dreamed of and loved her entire life, one she never knew truly existed, shows up in her math class, and with him comes a twin brother she finds herself inexplicably drawn to.

Chloe's once unyielding path now has a lot more choices than she ever thought possible.

My Review

5 of 5 Matter's Of Fate

A Matter Of Fate is a Brilliant READ! Oh man I just loved this story so much. I am a sucker for love triangles and this story has a unique love triangle. I have to say that this is one book that I really did not like the cover but man the saying don't judge a book by it's cover is never more true when it comes to this book. Lord let me tell me you when I started reading this book I could not put it down and I wanted no needed more when I came to the end and I am so looking forward to reading book two.

Chloe is not your average 17 year old high school student. She has a secret and that secret is she is a magical. She is able to influence the universe. She loves what she can do. But and yes there is always a but when it comes to teenagers. She is a special magical because she is a creator and her life is mapped out for her. She is no fan of that but what can she do. She has everything mapped out for her from where she will go to college to who she will marry. That is a little scary if you ask me but she is mad because she would like to chose her path in life.

Then if matters are not worse the poor girl is trapped in a love triangle. She has dreamed about a boy a beautiful boy when one day he walks into her math class and she nearly dies because she can't believe her eyes.Only he does not come alone he is a twin and the twin is a brother. Jonah and Kellan will fight for Chloe and as all love triangles this is where it gets interesting. Who will she chose? Will it be Jonah or will it be Kellan? Well you have to read this story and decide for yourself because I am on the fence. She should be with one but the other is very appealing. Why can't she have both???????????
