First off I have to say that I did truly love this book and I need the second one like ASAP! See I have this thing for effed up characters that find each other and fight hard to stay away from each other even though they know they are going to end up with each other. To me I have to laugh because the chemistry is so off the hook that it comes off of the pages in droves. Lord Meredith Wild you have out done yourself with this one and I can't wait to see what happens in the second book.
With that being said I am sure you want the low down and dirty on Hardwired...... well it goes like this. Erica is a hard worked and driven women who has just graduated from college and has a company that she is determined to see succeed. She is in a meeting with investors for her company when she comes toe to toe with a billionaire Blake who is legendary for what he has accomplished. And when Blake sees Erica for who she is he is intrigued and must have her.
But wanting her and getting her is a whole other ball game because Erica has locked up her heart like she is waiting for a bomb to go off. Blake is persistent though and he stays at it and slowly Erica lets him in. Once she lets him in the sparks are flying and everything seems to be going normal until Blake finds out about Erica's past that she has kept hidden from everyone. What will Blake do with this new information? Will he end things just as Erica has learned to open up? Will he help her fight through the demons of her past? I will say this towards the end things really started popping off and I could not put the book down. There was a twist I did not see coming and I was like WTF REALLY?????? So give this book a go because it is going to be one kick arse series!

Meredith Wild picked up her first romance novel at the tender age of twelve, and shortly after put pen to word processor and made her first attempt at writing a love story inspired by those she so enjoyed reading well past her bedtime.
Her dream of writing took a back seat to college, parenthood and eventually entrepreneurship, which led her into the fast-paced and male-dominated high tech industry.
